EQUAL3 began life in 2016

With 40+ years in the insurance industry and 30+ years of serving as a Broker, Tai Nuualiitia wanted to bring to life his vision of what broking meant through the tenet of equity in a equal share relationship...10 years ago he set up his own small Broker practice.

Equal3 is a boutique broking house that values its strong insurer/client/broker relationships and recently chose to become a member of the Community Broker Network NZ Limited [CBNZ] which is supported by the Steadfast Group.

With the level of local New Zealand and Australian resource through CBNZ buying power, Equal3 can compete with larger more impersonal corporate competitors...so being small and personal 'is' our advantage.

Equal3 became an improved version with Shelley Swainson joining the team. Her 40+ years' experience and skill set as an operations analyst, company administrator, and change management adviser has given Equal3 a broader scope of best practice and can provide more positive outcome solutions.

A well seasoned insurance professional that included stints in the UK as an insurance analyst and a two year secondment to the Pacific region overseeing Government agencies.

With a broad knowledge spectrum of insurance, Tai has also provided risk survey, data and claims management services to local and overseas insurers.
